Honor Earbuds Open

The HONOR Earbuds Open combine an open-ear design with sound, communication and noise-reduction technologies designed for everyday use. Their design lets you listen to music and take calls while remaining more aware of your surroundings, without inserting the earbuds directly into your ear canals.

Open-Ear Design and Comfort

Their structure features food-grade silicone and a flexible shape-memory nickel-titanium alloy. Each earbud weighs approximately 7.9 grams, providing a lightweight, secure fit during extended listening sessions.

The open-ear design reduces the pressure sensation associated with in-ear earbuds and allows you to stay more aware of your surroundings.

Sound

The earbuds feature a 16 mm dynamic driver with a multi-magnetic circuit, paired with a high-elasticity TPU diaphragm and a titanium-coated tweeter dome.

They also offer spatial audio, designed to provide a wider, more immersive soundstage for compatible content.

Noise Cancellation and Calls

The hybrid active noise cancellation system for open-ear design uses multiple microphones to reduce some ambient noise. Due to the inherently open design of the earbuds, their level of isolation is not equivalent to that of in-ear earbuds with a physical seal.

For calls, they feature three-microphone noise reduction, VACC voice pickup and a bone-conduction voiceprint sensor. The system is designed to maintain voice clarity even in winds of up to 6 m/s, according to the manufacturer's stated test conditions.

The AI private call feature uses an inverse sound field to reduce the likelihood of other people hearing the conversation.

Smart Features

The HONOR AI Space app lets you manage the earbuds and access compatible features such as AI translation, customizable controls, and earbud location.

Feature availability may vary depending on the phone, operating system, app version, language, and region.

Battery and charging

The earbuds provide up to 7 hours of playback and a combined battery life of up to 26 hours when using the charging case, under the test conditions specified by HONOR and with noise cancellation turned off.

Fast charging provides approximately 2 hours of playback from 15 minutes of charging. Both the earbuds and the case have built-in rechargeable batteries.

Connectivity and controls

The Bluetooth 5.2 connection lets you use them with phones and other compatible devices. They also support simultaneous connection to two devices and additional features within the HONOR ecosystem, such as MagicRing.

Tap and swipe controls let you manage playback, answer calls, adjust the volume, and activate certain features without using your phone.

Resistance

The earbuds are IP54-rated for dust and water splashes. This protection applies only to the earbuds, not the charging case. They are not designed for swimming, showering, or submersion.
