Sound and noise cancellation

The Apple-designed high-excursion driver and high dynamic range amplifier deliver balanced, detailed, immersive sound. Active Noise Cancellation helps reduce external distractions, while Transparency mode lets you hear what’s happening around you without removing the earbuds.

Adaptive Audio automatically combines both modes based on the surrounding conditions. They also include Adaptive EQ and Personalized Spatial Audio with dynamic head tracking for a more immersive experience when enjoying compatible music, movies and TV shows.

Comfort and controls

The open design has been optimized for a stable, lightweight fit all day long. Built-in sensors detect when they’re being worn and let you control playback, calls and sound modes with taps.

This version also adds a sliding touch control to adjust the volume directly from the earbuds.

Battery and charging

They offer up to 4 hours of listening with noise cancellation enabled and up to 20 hours of total battery life using the case. A charge of approximately five minutes provides around one extra hour of listening.

Calls and smart features

Beamforming microphones and voice isolation help make conversations clearer, even in noisy environments. Conversation Awareness automatically lowers the volume when you start talking to someone.

They are also compatible with Siri and features such as real-time translation, availability of which may vary depending on the language, country, and connected device.

Design and durability

Each earbud weighs just 4.3 grams and has an IP57 rating for dust, sweat, and water resistance. This makes them suitable for everyday use and sports, although they are not designed for water activities or submersion.

Connectivity and compatibility

The Bluetooth 5.3 connection provides fast, stable wireless communication. They are specially optimized for compatible Apple devices, with easy pairing, automatic switching between devices, and full access to their smart features.

They can also be used as Bluetooth headphones with devices from other manufacturers, although some advanced features may be limited.
